  Food on the Move-based at THE WORKSHOP a consultancy focusing on menu and food development for the industry and management of unique corporate and private events- is the brainchild of Dutch born Chef, Arnold Tanzer, and South African, Rudie Stoop.

Following on the success of “The Delicatessen” in Parktown North, Arnold identified with the renewed interest in and regeneration of the Johannesburg City Center, thus opening
THE WORKSHOP in an old-fashioned butchery in Braamfontein early in 2003.
This unique multi-functional culinary space serves as a production kitchen, function space-cum-open-plan kitchen for small corporate or private dinners as well as a food studio.
